The new generation of optical sensors from Precitec Optronik "CHRocodile" sets new standards in optical distance and thickness measurements. With it?s fast 4 kHz technology the CHRocodile provides advantages particularly in topographic evaluations on high reflecting surfaces: The duration of measurement is reduced by factor 4. The CHRocodile E is an advancement of the reliable sensor CHR 150 E. The method of measurement is based on the chromatic coded principle. The CHRocodile E is used for high precision distance measurements, for quality control and inline-monitoring, for determination of glass thickness and for non-contact thickness measurements.
